AFTERMATH

10 October 2025 / Bangalore: A 25-year-old corporate employee living in the Moon Apartments committed suicide yesterday afternoon. The deceased, Araav, was working as a junior engineer in the Vega Pvt. Ltd. and had been on leave for the last two days.

According to the police, a colleague of Araav, named Raahi, visited him yesterday evening but did not get a response to her knock. Raahi didn't take it seriously as it was not unusual for Araav to isolate himself. Our reporter, Arpit Hatila, met Raahi and asked her if there were any signs of this happening. She replied, "Barely."

The deceased was known to be quiet in nature. No colleague or family ever observed any abnormal behaviour. In fact, Araav's nature had been noted to be very approachable.

Araav's family arrived in the afternoon and is devastated by this sudden shock. To their surprise, no note was left by Araav. In a conversation with our reporter, they said that the fact they can't know the exact reason behind him taking this step, is an inescapable guilt they will carry for the rest of their lives.
